And I Daniel alone saw the vision:

And I saw, I Daniel alone, the sight:
|

for the men that were with me saw not the vision;
|
and the men that were with me saw not the sight,
|
| c |
but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
|
but a great trembling fell upon them, and they will flee in hiding themselves.
|

Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me:
|
And I was left alone, and I shall see this great sight, and strength was not left in me: |

for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.
|
and my honor is turned upon me into destruction, and I retained not strength.
|

Yet heard I the voice of his words:

And I hear the voice of his words,
|

and when I heard the voice of his words, then am I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
|
and when I heard the voice of his words, then I am in a trance on my face, and my face is to the earth.

And I heard, but I understood not:

And I heard, but I am not understanding.

then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
|
And then said I, O my lord, what will be the end of these things?

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel:
|
And he said, Go, Daniel:
|
| b |
for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
|
for the words will be shut up and sealed even to the time of the end.
|
